Our Services

Drink Driver Course Photo
Drink Driver Education Courses

We offer Drink Driving Education courses which can help you avoid future drink driving offences as well as offer legal advice. Our courses are designed to meet course obligations set out by courts for re-licencing.

Upon successful completion of the education component, participants are presented with a Course Completion Certificate that accompanies the Licence Restoration Report. Both these documents are essential for Licence Restoration and need to be provided to the Court for an offender to have their licence restored.

Assessments Photo
Assessments

Assesments can be required for licence restoration depending on the offence, and represent an official legal document. Assesments are designed to assess the driver’s understanding of alcohol use in the context of driving as well as individual situations including current alcohol use.

Offenders may be required to undertake an initial assessment 12 months prior to applying to the court for a licence restoration hearing. In some circumstances the disqualification period may cease before you have completed the steps towards licence restoration, consequently, it may be possible to apply to the court for a time reduction between the first assessment and the court hearing. We recommend discussing further with us regarding the details on how to go about this time reduction procedure.

An addition assessment is also to be completed for all offenders who have undertaken an initial assessment. This assessment must take place within 28 days of attending court for a licence restoration hearing.

To discuss the requirements for assessment in your situation please call us on 1800 253 141, or visit our contact page for further other contact methods.

Interlocks

If you have been required to fit an interlock you will need to apply to the court for an Interlock Condition Removal Order (ICRO) once you have served your minimum interlock period. You will also need to undertake an Interlock Condition Removal Order Assessment within 28 days of your appearance in court.
